Story of Kool Kage
Founder of Kool Kage.
I promote a new approach to business inspired by ideas and cultures from Denmark, France, Japan, and beyond.
Creativity, design, culture, and art are all deeply important to me.
I believe the world becomes richer when different cultures connect and learn from one another.
I’m working to create new business models that blend artistic sensibility with strong management—where creativity and business work hand in hand.

Tell the story
These formative experiences instilled a profound admiration for Occidental thought, a legacy I carried even after coming back to Japan.
Life was always quest to discover my true self amid cultural contrasts.
However, in my homeland encountered an intriguing paradox: a land renowned for quality yet gradually losing touch with its creative soul.
Driven by a passionate desire to reignite Japan’s artistic heartbeat, I committed myself to seek for a new creativity, born from the blend of Occidental and Far-east culture.
Kool Kage is not just a studio.
It’s born from a strong desire in myself.
Toward a fair society that values sustainability and ethics—
The world’s biggest challenges are not separate from art, culture, and design.
They are deeply connected.
Creativity has a strong power to help solving our society’s issues.
That’s the heart of my challenge.
Beauty should have an influence on the world.
Design is a visualization of philosophy, it should mean something.
It possesses a quiet magic that touches the very core of human feeling.
At times, it even provides fresh insights.
Protect the indispensable value of artistic expression in our world.
Creativity can seem fragile in times of adversity.
Yet I firmly believe it is precisely during hardship that we must champion the transformative power of art, design, and culture.
Future depends upon our ability to redesign, rethink, and reconnect—beauty must be more than surface-deep.
I want to build a strong partnership between business and creativity.
Orgin of Kool Kage
“Kage” means “cake” in Danish—a word that feels warm, familiar, and approachable.
At the same time, in Japanese, “kage” (翳 / 影 / 陰) can mean shadow—something hidden, quiet, and deeply beautiful.
I don’t wish to stand in the spotlight.
Instead, I hope to be someone who creates beauty quietly, from behind the scenes.
